St. Luke Orthodox Church is a parish of the Orthodox Church in America (OCA) located in Palos Hills, Illinois. Come join us for worship on Sunday morning - Matins 8:30 A.M. and Divine Liturgy at 9:30 A.M. Great Vespers is celebrated on Saturday at 5:30 P.M. Morning prayers are held Tuesday and Thursday at 6:30 A.M. Check the calendar for the dates and times of feast day services. Confessions are heard before and after all services. Common Confession is held 5 times a year - check calendar.

About St. Luke Chapel
St. Luke South Chapel is an outreach of St. Luke the Evangelist Church in Palos Hills, Ilinois, serving the Lincoln Way corridor—including the towns of New Lenox, Mokena, Frankfort, Tinley Park, Homer Glen and Manhattan.The Chapel is located one block south of US Route 30 and one block east of Cedar Road in New Lenox. The New Lenox Rock Island METRA train stops one block north of the Chapel. Sunday trains from downtown Chicago arrive in New Lenox at 9:44 AM. A train returning to Chicago departs at 12:24 PM.
Sunday Service schedule 9:50 AM Hours, followed by 10 AM Divine Liturgy.
Confessions are heard before Divine Liturgy or by appointment.

The Orthodox School of the Seventy (Link to Blog Site) has started a new school year, running September 1, 2013 to June 1, 2014. Study at your own pace and earn credit for doing so. The school is open to anyone wishing to learn about the Orthodox faith. Read, listen to podcasts, attend classes--there are many activities to choose from. New activities and books are posted weekly.
